Delta State Polytechnic Decision on Student Caught With Dangerous Weapons


The Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara has suspended indefinitely, four college students over an alleged illegal ownership of weapons in the institution’s premises.

Among the four suspendefireplace students are two very last yr students.

The four students were caught with the fireplace arms by using Security Operatives at some stage in the organization’s Cultural day birthday celebration held on Thursday 18th July, 2019.

The Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara confirmed the suspension of the students in the school’s bulletin signed through its Registrar, Dr. Benson Omonode.

A replica of the college’s bulletin become acquired on Sunday wherein the Registrar, Dr. Benson Omonode gave the names of the suspended college students to encompass Ogbekhilu Collins (HND II, Mechanical Engineering), Oghenede Godbless (HND II, Elect-Elect Engineering), Agbagbara Ernest (ND 1, Regular 2, Industrial Engineering) and Omare Andy (ND II, Regular 1 Business Administration and Mgt.)

“The four (4) college students have been caught with guns via security operatives on Thursday, 18th July, 2019 throughout the Cultural Day at the Polytechnic. They had been exceeded over to the police for investigation,” he stated.
