It's no longer news that the President of the United States of America has lost his recent election to his Democrat opponent, Joe Biden. Moments after the election results were announced in the Capitol by President Trump's VP, a group of rioters went into Capitol Hills overthrowing everyone in the building as a refusal to accept the electoral results.
Why was He banned?
Mr Trump after the incident at Capitol Hills came out with his videos calling the rioters "Patriots" which left his account suspended for 12hours.
On the 8th of January 2021, Mr Donald J. Trump Tweeted:
“The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”
Shortly after, the President Tweeted:
“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.”
After Twitter close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the abstract around them — particularly how they were being comprehended and deciphered on and off Twitter, they permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further 'incitement' of violence.
Following the context of Mr Donald Trump Twitter account definite suspension, Twitter and it's team made it clear on Wednesday that additional violations of Twitter Rules would potentially result in the ‘Definite suspension’ course of action.
They further explained that their public interest framework exists to enable the public to hear from elected officials and world leaders directly. Apparently, It is built on a principle that the people have a right to hold power to account in the open.
However, they made it clear in the back years that official accounts are not above Twitter rules entirely and Twitter cannot be used to incite violence, among other things. They however insisted they will continue to be transparent around their policies and enforcement.
Facebook is also targeting ‘stop the steal’ content in order to regulate misinformation and incitement of violence on Facebook. Every subject matter supporting “stop the steal” movement will be removed from the platform, while posts containing the expression to either condemn it or discuss the topic neutrally will be allowed to remain. The policy change is the latest effort to curb 'misinformation and incitement of violence'.
