{UPDATE} Manchester United Board Decision on Dayot Upamecano

Manchester United board have reached an agreement over the transfer move for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano, UK Telegraph reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is keen to sign a fast centre-back this summer and believes Upamecano can be a good partner with captain Harry Maguire at the Red Devils’ defence next season.

But some Man United board members have now raised concerns over a move for Upamecano this summer.

There is debate at Old Trafford over the move of Upamecano’s readiness for a move to the Premier League giants and if he is willing to coup with the English top-flight league.

Leipzig values Upamecano at around £60m but a clause in his contract means he can leave the club for around £40m next summer.

Upamecano has helped Leipzig with his skills to reach the Champions League last-four season.
The Frenchman has also drawn the interest of several big clubs in Europe in the past few weeks following his impressive display for the Bundesliga side last season.
